The Change Navigator

Our lives change.

Sometimes by choice.
Often times not.

And even if chosen, we can be left wondering
“Why is this so hard?”

 Isn’t it “adapt or die?”

Nope!

It’s the difference between change and transition.

Over the last five years, the amount of change we’ve had to deal with is just head-spinning.

From global pandemics to economic uncertainty and political upheaval, from workplace transformations to personal life upheavals – we’ve all been pushed into changes we haven’t necessarily wanted, and we’re not necessarily ready for.

And we are HURTING.

“Not in his goals but in his transitions man is great.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

A lot of advice around change actually sets us up for struggle: adapt or die, let it go, just move on, focus on the positive, etc.

This ignores how humans actually process significant change – and why so many of us feel stuck, exhausted, or disoriented even after the practical aspects of a change are long since complete.

Change and transition are linked, yes, but they follow different processes and timelines.

When we don’t recognize this distinction, we often push ourselves to “get over it” before we’re emotionally ready, which actually makes the change–and transition–harder.

When we untangle the two, we are much better prepared to deal with changes, and move through transitions.

Welcome to the Change Navigator

A 6-week, live, coached, program…for when life is changing.

Program Overview

This 6-week program focuses on understanding the ACTUAL psychological journey that happens during major transitions.

FAQs

No. This is live calls only.

Totally OK. You’ll get a summary of what we covered + you’ll have the workbook + chat group.

I honestly don’t know. I haven’t made that decision yet.

For anyone who has, is, or will be experiencing change in their life (yes, statistically that’s everyone 😉).

What and how much you choose to share is entirely up to you. You can be on or off camera, as works for you.

No, it’s a facilitated group program. There will be a little teaching (5-10 minutes), then a guided practice, then Q&A and discussion.

Everyone is being impacted in ways small and large by current events. But that’s not our focus. Our focus is on building our internal capacity to deal with any change and transition – be that personal, professional or something else.

No. I have made the rate as low as I can, and which still honors what it takes to design, deliver and facilitate a program like this.

Minimum of 12, maximum of 20.

50 minutes. So you have time to get to the next meeting.

A workbook will be provided. You can engage with it as much or as little as works for you.

We’ll have a chat group (WhatsApp or Signal) where you can ask any question and I’ll respond.

Refunds are available through Friday, May 2. Thereafter all enrollments are final.

No.

Change management is a systematic approach to dealing with transitions or transformations within an organization, focusing on implementing strategies to facilitate and control change, while also helping individuals and teams adapt to those changes.

This program is focussed on the internal journey all of us go through as we deal with external changes.

All are welcome and OK. We are focussing on the fundamentals, and these can then be applied to any transition. You can have a specific transition in mind, or not. Either way, you will be developing practical skills and strategies to deal with future changes.

About Sue

In my own life I’ve navigated profound transitions across continents and careers—from leading a diplomatic mission during the second Palestinian Intifada, to being hired as an “innovative change agent” – only to experience workplace bullying and trauma.

From PTSD (twice) to post-traumatic growth I know some changes can break us…but also make us.

And it’s not about “powering through”, it’s about bringing kindness and compassion to wherever we are at.
